The authors deal with the new Law on Reorganization and Bankruptcy (Law No. 14.112/2020), enacted with the purpose of coordinating interests in insolvency proceedings to allow companies to restructure in a faster and more organized way, with the possibility of conducting mediation proceedings before or during Insolvency proceedings. The authors state that several improvements introduced by the reform in the Law are already being successfully tested by the courts, contributing to increasing legal certainty.
