A summons was published in today’s Official Gazette of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, calling upon 9,720 companies to prove their registration in the Reverse Logistics System of Mato Grosso do Sul (Sisrev/MS), in compliance with State Decree No 15,340/2019.
According to this Decree, manufacturers, importers, distributors and traders of products that, after use by the consumer, generate packaging in general as waste, are required in Mato Grosso do Sul to structure and implement reverse logistics systems. This obligation covers companies whether headquartered in Mato Grosso do Sul or not, and regardless of whether they are signatories to the state commitment terms.
