On 23 March 2021, Ordinance No. 490 of the Ministry of Regional Development was published, establishing general procedures for assessing compliance with one of the conditions for allocating federal public resources to projects in the basic sanitation sector. This refers to the compliance with the water loss index in the distribution, a condition provided for in item IV of article 4 of Decree No. 10. 588/2020 and item IV of article 50 of Law 11,445/2007.
