Federal Decree No. 12,106/2024 was published today, 11 July 2024, regulating the tax incentive for the recycling production chain established in Law No. 14,260/2021 (check out our previous alert about the standard at this link), with a view to promoting the use of raw materials and inputs made from recyclable and recycled materials.
According to the new regulation, individuals and legal entities taxed based on real profit will be able to deduct part of their income tax when supporting projects approved by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MMA).
