Central Bank postpones the entry into force of the second phase of Open Banking

On 13 July, the Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil decided to postpone the start of the second phase of Open Banking in Brazil, originally scheduled to start on 15 July 2021. With yesterday’s publication of Resolution BCB No. 114/2021, the second phase of Open Banking, which should allow institutions to exchange customer registration and transaction data upon their authorization, will start on 13 August 2021.
