Our lawyers Fabricio Soler and Thaís Vidal Saraiva have contributed to the work “Saneamento básico no Brasil: práticas e reflexões após 2 anos da edição da Lei 14.026/2020 (Basic Sanitation in Brazil: practices and reflections after 2 years of the enactment of Law No. 14,026/2020)”.

Our professionals discussed “Formas de Prestação dos Serviços Públicos de Manejo de Resíduos Sólidos à Luz da Lei nº 14.026/2020 (Ways of Provision of Public Services for Solid Waste Management in Light of Law No. 14,026/2020)”. According to them, “it is essential to issue a regulation that provides for regularity in relation to the transition period, so that the new measures can be accommodated to holders who can provide solid waste management services, considering that many administrative contracts are still being governed by regulations such as Federal Law No. 8666, of June 21, 1993”.
