International legal directory Chambers and Partners has launched its new guide “Chambers Brazil: Contentious, 2021”. The guide covers 11 practice areas, recognizing high-performing departments and individuals.
Thanks to an outstanding performance by our team, the Restructuring and Insolvency department maintained its Band One ranking. Thomas Felsberg, our Founding Partner, continued being ranked Band 1, with one source saying “Thomas is a legal institution himself, an international point of reference, and leads a great team in Brazil”. Our other Restructuring and Insolvency partners were also recognized, with Fabiana Solano, in Band 4, being described as “an exceptional practitioner with outstanding experience” and Clara Moreira Azzoni in the Up and Coming category being cited as “Clara is a very good communicator and promptly informs us of all the risks involved in matters so we can make a strategic decision”.
André Fonseca, from our Compliance and White-Collar Crime and Corporate Investigations departments, received recognition in the area of Compliance with a ranking in Band 4; Chambers said “Clients further benefit from his advice on compliance integrity programmes review and implementation”.
