In recent years, Generative Artificial Intelligence has been causing great debate, especially regarding the possibility of copyright protection or otherwise for images and works created using automated techniques provided by artificial intelligence platforms.
Recently, the United States Copyright Office (USCO), the body responsible for copyright registration in the United States, in an unprecedented decision, recognized copyright protection for a work entirely generated by artificial intelligence, entitled “A Single Piece of American Cheese”.
