The Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo (TJSP) has decided on the character of non-tax credits in the judicial recovery process of Rodovias do Tietê, an important precedent.
Thomas Felsberg, in an interview with Valor Econômico, says that “The authorization of the transfer of control has to do with resolving this debt that has grown drastically and now the court has provided a path. Until now, there was some doubt about the character of the credits, but this decision prevails, even though it may eventually be reviewed, and this was one of the factors that has delayed this solution until now”.
