Fabricio Soler, Rodrigo Bertoccelli and Amanda de Rolt analyze the increased use of electronic bidding, which has become more popular with the public administration, in an article published by Valor Econômico. This practical and fast hiring procedure became a trend in the acquisition of assets and common services with the Union’s resources. Although electronic bidding is a faster bidding modality when compared to the traditional modalities, caution is necessary in its use by the public administrator to avoid hiring the worst service provider for the best price.
