In spite of the negative consequences of global sanitary crisis caused by COVID-19, it is now the time for agents of the Brazilian electricity sector to study the “lessons learned” from such emergency. Notwithstanding the high friendly composition of conflicts resulting from COVID-19 in the Energy Market, contractual instruments evidently need to be improved. Thus, agents of the electricity sector are aiming to improve instruments such as the Contract for the Supply of Energy in the Free Environment (CCEAL); and Contracts for the Supply of Materials / Equipment and Contracts for the Provision of Service.
