Textile waste: without recycling or reuse, clothing remains a threat to the environment

On 13 February, Fantástico aired a special report on textile waste, a threat to the environment when there is no recycling or reuse of clothing scraps. In an interview, Fabricio Soler commented that unfortunately half of the Brazilian municipalities still use dumps that cause soil and water contamination, in addition to compromising public health, but that the National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS) was created precisely to regulate and guide the correct disposal of this and other materials.
