The State of Minas Gerais stands out in the area of sustainability, especially with regard to the challenges faced with sanitation and mining. When commenting on the matter for the G1 portal, Fabricio Soler highlighted that references in environmental consultancy are found in the State and declared that “Minas has always been a contemporary and bold state in terms of regulation and environmental protection” and that “both the private sector and the public are imbued with the spirit of growing based on environmental and social governance, or ESG, criteria”.
