Represented by Felsberg Advogados, as legal advisor, and Starboard Partners, as financial advisor, debenture holders of the concessionaire Rodovias do Tietê last week approved the judicial reorganization plan that provides for the restructuring of over BRL 1.8 billion in debt. Court approval of the plan and approval by ARTESP are also required for the implementation of measures that will allow the continuity of the concessionaire’s services, benefiting users and enabling the payment of creditors.
The case is emblematic, as it involves over 15,000 debenture holders and the change of control of the public service concessionaire, which will be taken over by an equity investment fund that will have the debenture holders as shareholders.
