The Interministerial Committee of Basic Sanitation (CISB) was established by Decree No. 10,430, published on 20 July 2020. CISB was created with the aim of coordinating federal actions in the sector to ensure the application of the federal basic sanitation policy, in accordance with Federal Law No. 11,445/2007.
