Highlights include: the publication of Provisional Measure 1,300/2025, which reforms the electric power sector and directly impacts subsidies, the free market, and tariff incentives; consumer access to the Basic Network, with ANEEL now requiring guarantees to prevent improper reservation of space in the electric grid; and a new methodology to assess the “maximum efforts” of transmission companies in collecting termination charges for CUSTs.
