In recent days, the airline industry has been moving with reference to the developments involving the acquisition of LATAM Brasil. Although Azul began speculation about a consolidation in the sector by showing interest in the acquisition, Gol took the lead by announcing an acquisition on Tuesday (8 June). Thomas Felsberg, whose views were published in Infomoney, explained that positive results can be obtained in an M&A operation if Azul proposes the amortization of the DIP financing as a starting point.
