Beatriz Kyrillos is the author of the article “A controvérsia sobre o stay period na mediação antecedente aos processos de insolvência (The controversy over the stay period in mediation prior to insolvency proceedings)” published in the column Migalhas de Peso.

In the text, Beatriz deals with the possibility of establishing mediation or conciliation prior (or incidental) to judicial recovery proceedings and defends the necessary observance of the 60-day suspension period provided for in art. 20-B, paragraph 1 of the Bankruptcy and Company Recovery Law and the inapplicability of the period provided for in art. 308 of the CPC in the context of the urgent precautionary measure presented by the debtor.
