In a decision taken on 19 May, 2020, ANEEL determined that the request to reduce charges on contracted demand cannot be complied with due to possible loss to the electricity sector. However, ANEEL, in decree nº 10.350/2020, encouraged a potential deferment and installment of payments for the costs resulting from the contracted demand.
