Partner Rodrigo Bertoccelli, from our Sanitation practice, spoke with Valor Econômico today about the appeal filed by the Rio de Janeiro State Attorney General’s Office (PGE-RJ) against an injunction that reduces Cedae’s concession period. Bertoccelli commented that “the concession term is linked to the amortization of investments. If the term is not enough to reimburse all the necessary investment, this can make the concession itself unfeasible”.
