The impacts of the pandemic are still felt in several sectors and among them is the Sanitation sector that suffered from the loss of data. Partner Rodrigo Bertoccelli, who specializes in Sanitation, was invited by Valor to comment on the matter and he highlighted that there is no information to assess whether the pandemic brought setbacks to Basic Sanitation which could affect business in the sector.
In addition, Rodrigo stated that “we need premises to guide projects. If I don’t have precise indicators [on the state of sanitation in areas subject to concession auctions], this can lead to distortions in contracts. And we are talking about contracts for 30 or 35 years”.
