National Council of Justice (CNJ) and São Paulo State Court of Justice (TJSP) authorize the decrease in business hours for São Paulo’s notaries

Covid-19 News

The National Council of Justice, following policies adopted by States and Municipalities, recommends that the functioning of registries is regulated during the current time of crisis. The Council determined that States and Federal Districts may adopt measures such as the reduction of business hours and hours of in-person service to the public. However, the São Paulo State Court of Justice decided that notaries must remain open for at least 4 consecutive hours each day.
