More than half of companies are not prepared for the new Law on Data Protection

Our partner Clarissa Luz, in an interview with Correio Braziliense, analyzed the question of the implementation of the General Data Protection Act (LGPD). Our privacy specialist emphasized the importance of the immediate initiation of an adequacy procedure by companies and included, among the main points for compliance, the adoption of “technical and administrative measures to maintain protection and avoid an excess of actions which are not in agreement with the service provided to the consumer.”
