On 9 March 2021, Ordinance No. 1/2021, establishing the internal regulations of the National Authority for Data Protection (“ANPD”), the body responsible for establishing guidelines for, educating on and ensuring compliance with Law No. 13,709/18 (the General Data Protection Law – “LGPD”), was published.
The internal regulations of an organ establish its rules, procedures, organization, hierarchical levels, functioning and competencies, as well as the relationship between the Authority and those submitted to its rules.
