Starting 7 August 2025, INPI will offer priority processing for trademark registration applications, aimed at expediting the review process until the effective granting of trademarks. Individuals aged 60 or older, those with serious illnesses or disabilities, as well as startups under the Inova Simples model and strategic cases, will be able to request, without charge, priority processing or, in some cases, upon payment of a fee. Although this initiative does not guarantee the right to registration, it seeks to accelerate the trademark review process for certain applicants, ensuring a faster and more efficient process for protecting their intellectual property rights.
