Experts question attempt to hinder removal of content from networks

The presidency has prepared a draft decree that could change the Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (Law No. 12,965/2014), hurting not only this but also the Constitution. The portal Consultor Jurídico (ConJur) spoke with partner Clarissa Luz, from our Data Protection and Technology area, who stated that “the autonomy of platforms for blocking content, unlike mere carte blanche, is based on terms and conditions of use and rules of coexistence, public and fundamental documents to avoid the false feeling of a ‘lawless land'”.
