CPOM requirement is considered unconstitutional

The STF considers the CPOM, instituted since 2005, to be unconstitutional, as it violates constitutional principles and the Tax on Services (ISS) rules. Our partner Anna Flávia Izelli Greco spoke with the magazine Contas em Revista on the subject and stated that “the cost of tax advisory obligations is immense” and in addition to this burden there is the “need to observe all parallel obligations which are incurred when the service is provided”, which hampered the performance of national service companies that needed to register in all the cities in which they operated.
