Corpus Christi is not a national holiday: see workers’ rights

The Corpus Christi holiday is not a national holiday; the date is considered an optional day off and it is important to signal workers’ rights in these cases.

Partner Maurício Pepe De Lion told Folha de São Paulo that “From the moment we have the decree, it has the force of law. This means that in those cities where the holiday has been antecipated, people will have to work on the 16th.”
