Check out the impact of reduced working hours on salary

The new Provisional Measures (MP No. 1,045 and No. 1,046) reformulated the Employment and Income Maintenance Program, launched at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, bringing again more flexibility in the labor rules.

Lawyer Rafael Júlio Borges da Silva, from our Labor and Employment area, spoke with Folha de São Paulo and pointed out that there are some differences between the rules of last year and those that became valid last Tuesday (27 April). In the article, Rafael also said that the change “has the feeling of having come late, at a time when the economy is beginning to move forward, but it may, in some way, benefit employers and workers”.
