The concession auction of the State Water and Sewage Company of Rio de Janeiro (CEDAE), which is scheduled for Friday (30 April), has agitated the Sanitation sector and promises to place not only the sector but also the winning bidder on a new plateau. Partner Rodrigo Bertoccelli, who is an expert on the subject, commented to O Estado de São Paulo that despite the expectation that the auction will be successful, one cannot “expect the same competition that occurred with Casal (Companhia de Saneamento de Alagoas), in that BRK offered a premium of more than 13,000%”.
