Anti-Corruption 2020 Guide: Brazil

André Fonseca and Laura Dimantas, from our Department of White-Collar Crime and Corporate Investigations, wrote a chapter on the Brazilian legislation regarding corruption for the “Law & Practice” section of the “Anti-Corruption 2020 Guide”, published by Chambers and Partners. The guide addresses topics such as bribery, influence peddling, rules for maintaining financial and accounting records, crimes related to public officials, statute of limitations, geographic scope of legislation, corporate responsibility, defenses and exceptions, protection for whistleblowers and landmark investigations among other aspects, in 23 jurisdictions.
