Our partner Rodrigo Bertoccelli, a specialist in Sanitation, commented to Valor Econômico on Monday (26 April) on CEDAE’s auction and how this will be a decisive week for it. In the article, Bertoccelli stated that “Fux’s decision [to stop the effects of the judge’s injunction] is in line with the Supreme Court’s own jurisprudence in the sense that the ownership of the sanitation services is municipal” and that “[this] being a regionalized project, it is the municipalities that matter and not the state law”.
