The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels – ANP has published on 27 November the draft bidding terms and concession contract for the 17th Bidding Round of Exploration Blocks. This round and the 8th Production Sharing Round were suspended in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The draft bidding terms and concession contract will be subject to public consultation for 60 days, until 28 January 2021, and the public hearing will be held on 3 February 2021 by videoconference. The public bidding session for the 17th Bidding Round is scheduled to take place on 7 October 2021
