In 2024, many companies faced financial problems and resorted to extrajudicial or out-of-court recovery, resulting in a record BRL 37.4 billion in debt negotiations. This amount represents a 385% increase compared to 2023, as highlighted by the Brazilian Observatory of Extrajudicial Recovery (Obre), linked to the consultancy Biolchi Empresarial.
