A few months after the publication of Law No. 7,000/2021, which instituted a new discipline for tax transactions at the municipal level, the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro last week published regulations establishing the requirements and conditions for taxpayers to carry out a transaction to resolve litigation related to the collection of credits of a tax nature from the Public Treasury, whether or not registered in active debt.
