The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL) has authorized the Broadcast Auction Notice n°1-2020 for the organization of an Auction in December 2020 in São Paulo. According to the Regulatory Agency, this Auction is estimated to generate about R$ 7.4 billions in investments for the electric sector. It should be noted that the approval of the Public Notice aligns with the positioning of the sector’s institutions in the webinar promoted by our office in July 2020.
