We are delighted to announce that our partners Fabiana Solano and Evy Marques were among the recipients of the inaugural Women’s Leadership Awards presented during the 2024 Meritas Annual Meeting in Charlotte NC, USA. The awards celebrate the achievements of women legal professionals and were created to support the mission of the Meritas Women’s Leadership Congress in creating visibility, knowledge sharing, mentorship, and skills-building opportunities to support women’s professional legal careers, as well as fostering conversations that help promote diversity and inclusion in firm recruiting, retention, and business development.
Fabiana received the “Returner of the Year” award, which recognizes her successful return to work after maternity leave and which is meant to raise awareness of the challenges associated with returning to work after a career break. Evy received the “Mentor of the Year” award, which recognizes active mentors behind the success of younger women in the network.
These awards symbolize our constant search for and commitment to encouraging the inclusion of women in the professional arena, and we are proud to have two partners so honored. According to Fabiana Solano, the recognition “demonstrates that we are on the right path.” Currently, half of the partners and 63% of all staff at Felsberg Advogados are women.
