Daniel has been working at the intersection of Law and Technology since 2020, with a strong focus on advisory matters related to personal data protection, cybersecurity, and AI governance.
Daniel has professional experience in:
(i) supporting companies at different stages of maturity in achieving compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD);
(ii) drafting legal opinions and memoranda on personal data protection, including risk assessments;
(iii) assisting in the development of solutions aligned with privacy by design principles; and (iv) acting as a DPO as a Service, serving as a communication channel with data subjects and the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (ANPD), as well as delivering internal training sessions to clients.
Additionally, Daniel has experience as a researcher at the Center for Technology and Society at FGV/RV, focusing on technology regulation projects related to data usage and cybersecurity.
