Our counselor and former Brazilian ambassador to Washington, Sérgio Amaral, recently gave an interview to Estadão. The interview arose out of the partnership that the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), led by Ambassador Amaral, established with the US Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro for a project to increase knowledge about bilateral relations between the USA and Brazil.

In the article, he commented on the current situation of Brazil in the international political scenario and stated that relations between Brazil and the USA have always been important. He also considered the aspects that need to be improved to strengthen this relationship.
