In a text published on the JOTA portal, our partner Tasso Cipriano commented on the highlights of the agenda released by the plenary of the #STF for 2022 in environmental matters.
According to his explanation, the cases involved the environmental regulation of products, which attracts less attention in traditional environmental law, which is still centered on the regulation of productive activities. Tasso highlighted the cases on asbestos and plastic bags, as it is understood that they show particular challenges in the regulation of products, an example of the restriction of economic freedom in deciding what to produce.
