After much expectation and conjecture, the Federal Supreme Court finally rendered a decision in the Declaration Embargoes opposed by the Federal Government in RE 574,706 (theme 69), putting an end to the discussion regarding the unconstitutionality of the inclusion of ICMS in the PIS and COFINS calculation base.
