Bill 4,253/2020, which amends the Bidding Law, the Auction Law (Law 10,520/2002) and the Differentiated Contracting Regime (RDC – Law 12,462/2011), was approved by the House of Representatives on 17 September 2019 and, more recently, in the Senate on 10 December 2020.
The Bill was widely discussed in the House of Representatives. In the Senate, the Bill was approved in just over a week. Rapporteur Antônio Anastasia (PSD/MG) presented amendments to the Bill approved by the House of Representatives. Two more highlights from the bench were accepted to change §1 of art. 53 and item “a” of item IX of art. 74.
