The draft bill that establishes the new legal framework for basic sanitation in the country will be voted today, 24 June 2020, by the Federal Senate. In an interview with Migalhas, partner Rodrigo Bertoccelli analyzes the market expectations for this decision. Our specialist highlights that the bill stimulates the creation of municipal blocks for the development of joint sanitation projects: “The goal of regionalization is to obtain economy of scale and guarantee the economic and financial viability of services in view of universalization.”
