The number of mergers and acquisitions in Brazil has substantially dropped due to the pandemic. However, this new scenario has created possibilities for qualified investors and institutional funds, which opt to continue buying assets with lower prices, targeting the recovery and resale with better values. Our partner João Carlos Mendonça, in an interview with Folha de S. Paulo, talked about this trend and about the telecommunications sector. The latter is becoming attractive as companies need to amplify their infrastructure and traffic capacity.
