Maurício Pepe de Lion analyses the provisions of the new Labor Law which allow the decrease in wages and working hours or the suspension of labor contracts, measures which were provided for in Provisional Measure nº 936/2020. According to Maurício, it is important to remember that “agreements – individual or collective – cannot be done by imposition or in absentia of the employee.”
