Decree defines public services and essential activities – Coronavirus

Published on 20 March, 2020, Federal Decree nº 10.282 defines the public services and essential activities which, according to Federal Law nº 13.979, should be safeguarded from the restriction measures implemented to face the current public health emergency. These public services and essential activities are defined as indispensable to meet unavoidable necessities which, if not relieved, can endanger the survival, health and security of the population. Thus, public and private entities must provide teams prepared to execute, monitor and supervise the undertaking of the listed public services and essential activities and ensure all guidelines to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 are respected.
