Provisional Measure nº 927/2020 aims at maintaining all work posts and income during the state of public calamity caused by the new coronavirus. The Federal Government implemented measures to be negotiated between employers and employees in order to maintain employment relations. The new set of normative, legal and negotiation instruments are, among others: remote work from home (home office); anticipation of individual vacation and non-religious holidays; implementation of collective holidays; creation of “bank of hours”; postponement of Government Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS) payment, etc.
