More than ever, the Compliance Program is an essential tool for firms to face this period of crisis. It is fundamental to develop a series of attitudes and actions to provide answers and reliable information to clients and collaborators. More than anything, a crisis management team is essential for clients to obtain fast and efficient answers and for partners to be reassured that businesses carried out virtually will have the same security and quality as always. It is important to maintain regular communication with collaborators to guide them in this exceptional time, namely by implementing new corporate policies for good and proper conduct. In the aftermath of the crisis, an audit should be conducted to evaluate potential misconduct and make due adjustments to the Compliance Program.
