ANEEL is unlikely to accede to the request that billing of contracted demand be restricted to the billing of what is effectively used, as this would lead to eventual financial losses to the electricity sector. ANEEL did not, however, respond to the Judiciary’s comparison of this exceptional situation to a situation of war and its arguments can easily be refuted by consumers and associations.
