The usage of health equipment in the combat against coronavirus now regulated by ANVISA

Covid-19 News

On 30 April, 2020, ANVISA published Resolution nº 378 which establishes minimal requirements for the import, commercialization and donation of health equipment essential for health facilities in the fight against COVID-19. The Resolution determined that already registered equipment may be reused if its use remains valid in terms of efficacy and safety. It is important to note that those responsible for registering the products are also responsible for the proper functioning of the equipment. The measures resulting from the Resolution have entered into force and will be kept while the situation of emergency lasts.
